miss lauren is a VIT (vet in training)
as of tonight she has been doing the procedures for malia (iv injection-tranquilizer, wound dressing removal and checking (3 major wounds) wound scrubbing, wound flushing, wound sanitizing, wound packing and wrapping. then she gives 2 oral meds, 2 intramuscular injections and one more intravascular injection.) pretty serious stuff. horse accident

lauren’ s new horse found a crevice in our lower pasture that we were not aware of and she slipped into it with both her back legs (about up to the knees). she was able to get herself out but sustained some serious wounds. nothing broken, but deep cuts that show bone. the vet gasped […]
