some changes since your last visit

life is pretty sweet here. i can hear one of the 2 week old kids crying out looking for his mom. you will find some changes here on the farm. first we changed the name to one scott thought up: Evening Rain Farm.
we have a pond, 2 horses, more chickens, a second homestead/intern area, and we are tackling the potential impact of a gall wasp which has been devastating the wili wili population. scott has been very busy removing the albezia canopy and we are replacing it with bamboo and large fruit trees, so it looks less like a jungle (until the trees and bamboo mature).
the tarp kite house lost its roof in a huge wind storm (kite like). it is currently a screen house for tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, until we begin re-building. it will replace the ohia house as our living/kitchen space. we are replacing the tarp structures with metal roof structures. the tarps fail miserably when they fail and they are not cost effective long term. the barn is probably next on our list of structures to replace……
